It’s interesting when you walk the same patch at different times in the day and night and see and hear different things. I’m not a morning person! I like walking our dog, Vera, in the evening, when it’s getting dark. There’s a calming quietness, and you may see a fox or hear one of the many around here.
Both our previous dogs have been rescues. Bruno, had been abandoned because of a marriage break up, locked up in a garden shed. Then Fred, picked up by the dog warden, no history whatsoever, and no claimants. Both lovely natured and beautiful dogs. I’m sure they were once loved, but their owners situations changed.
